Poor Boy Car Club show Saturday

CENTER— The eighth annual classic Poor Boy Car Club show will be held at the Center Schools parking lot Saturday July 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. Richard, Tony and Bill Garcia are sponsoring the show. Gate entry for the event is $30 with a $5 fee for each additional entry. Admission is free. This year a truck club, Arregla2, will join the car show.
The burnout competition will be held again this year by popular request and will begin at 11 a.m. The competition will be held across the canal at the old Pepper warehouse parking lot.
The show is open to all makes and models of any era or year, including motorcycles, trucks, rat rods, tractors or works-in-progress. A discount will be offered at the gate for those bringing new friends to the show.
Live entertainment will be provided and vendors will be on the school premises. The awards ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. Proceeds from the show are given each year to worthy causes in the Valley and elsewhere.
