U.S.P.S. mailer contains incorrect voting information

The Rio Grande County Clerk and Recorder’s Office has been notified that the Postal Service is sending out a pre-election mailer to every household in the United States. This mailer contains incorrect election information for Colorado voters. The Postal Service mailer instructs voters to request a mail ballot 15 days before the election. Colorado ballots will be, automatically, mailed to every eligible registered voter the week of October 12. Colorado residents do not need to request a ballot unless they do not receive their ballot in the mail by October 21.... more
