Levi Powers disappeared from the Sagauche County Jail at 8 p.m. Tuesday, shed his orange jail jumpsuit, and was later spotted along Highway 285 wearing a dark hoody and other dark clothing. Powers is six feet tall, medium build, hazel eyes and has tattoos on the fingers of both hands, also his right forearm.

He was last seen between Alamosa and Monte Vista, has been hitchiking and may be heading for Colorado Springs. If anyone sees a person matching his description or knows Powers' whereabouts, they are asked to please call the Saguache Sheriff's Office at 719-655-2544.
