SAGUACHE — Saguache County Housing Director Evan Samora asks citizens to please fill out a new round of surveys mailed recently regarding housing needs in the county which should arrive in the mail over the next several days.

The Saguache County Housing Authority applied for and was awarded Saguache County Sales Tax Grant funds to purchase the survey to help point the Housing Authority in the direction of which community is in the most need for additional affordable housing opportunities, Samora explained. 

Due to a vendor error, the postage-paid envelopes to return the survey were not included in the first mailing. The second mailing will contain the envelopes.

“I apologize for the confusion and frustration that this may have caused,” Samora said. “Your participation in the survey is anonymous and is of great importance,” so citizens are asked to look for and complete their surveys when they receive them.
