Haskin Elementary students from Melissa Armenta’s class recently participated in the SLV Regional Science Fair in Alamosa. Armenta complimented her students on dedication to completing their projects and their good behavior at the fair.
Students listed were the ones who made it through the whole process and were taken to Adams State University for the fair. Nine students were recognized during the awards ceremony. Students participating were: Fifth grade: Christopher Trujillo, Christopher Gonzalez, Yamileth Maljaca, Noah Swanson, Giovanny Bermudez. Fourth grade: Mason Merritt-Armenta, Lorenzo Trujillo, Ciara Paiz, Arazeliz Garcia, Lorenzo Truijillo, Alexa Bustamante, Gerardo Sandoval and Liannette Martinez (not pictured). Sponsors were Melissa Armenta, Taelor Mullins and Laura Judd.
