CSP seeks info on May 15 crash

RIO GRANDE COUNTY—On May 15 at approximately 3:15 p.m., troopers from the Colorado State Patrol responded to a two-car serious injury crash on Colorado 285, milepost 67.2, which is about 16 miles north of Monte Vista.
The crash involved a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2013 Chevy Impala. Two parties in the crash sustained serious injury.
The Colorado State Patrol is seeking the assistance from the public in identifying a key witness that was on scene of the crash. It appears the truck is a newer Dodge 2500 or 3500 4-door that was pulling a goose neck stock trailer and both are white in color. The license plate on the truck also appears to be out of Colorado. The truck and trailer is reported to have just been passed by the Jeep. The Jeep had just gotten back into the northbound lane when the crash started to take place. The investigation is ongoing and the state patrol would like to speak to the driver of the truck.
If you have any information as to who the driver was or you were driving it at the time, please contact Trooper Lance Curry at 719-589-5807.
