CENTER— Center Conservation District received a grant from USFS for funding a cost-share program for Saguache County residents. Funding requests will be accepted until Sept. 14. These funds are being offered to local landowners to be used for noxious weed control projects. The amount of funding will depend on the number of requests received.
Funding assistance is available for agriculture property and non-agriculture property within the Center Conservation District boundaries. Anyone interested in applying for Cost-Share Funding should call Brenda Anderson, district manager, 754-3400 x104.
