What ballot will I receive?
Your ballot will have federal, state and local candidate races, statewide initiatives and referenda, and special district ballot issue questions. Voters should take care to review the ballot instructions and the ballot carefully as you will receive two ballot pages with content on both sides.

Election night Results
Unofficial election results will be posted shortly after close of polls. Statewide results can be found on the Secretary of State’s website.  Link will be distributed in advance of Election Day.  County-level results can be found there or on the County Clerk website.  Final certified results are posted after the risk-limiting audit and public canvass board no later than Nov. 27. This is important required validation and results are not official until after the publicly appointed audit and canvass board complete their responsibilities.

Unofficial election results will be updated periodically until final Official Results are posted after receipt of military and overseas ballots and any signature cures.

To ensure integrity, mail ballot processing takes longer - opening, verifying every signature to the voter, ballot custody procedures and accounting.

Due to social distancing and safety protocols, ballot processing may take longer, and therefore unofficial results may take longer. It is not an indication that there is a problem.
