Though the visiting Bobcats’ Clay Campbell (52) was able to recover this fumble, the Vikings managed to go into halftime with the score tied at 21—helped by two Almeida touchdown receptions—before falling 38-21.  Now 3-3 overall, 0-2 in the SPC, the Vikes will next travel to Colorado Springs this Friday, Oct. 18, to test non-conference St. Mary’s (1-5, 0-2 1A Tri-Peaks).  The struggling Pirates fell 47-6 last week on the road at No. 4-ranked [CHSAANow.com Class 1A poll, 10/7] Florence.
