Center residents asked to take survey

CENTER— Center Town Administrator Brian Lujan invites Center residents to take a simple yes or no survey regarding the desirability of sounding off the town’s siren twice a day, after receiving a complaint regarding the siren.

Many Center residents consider the siren as a traditional part of Center life and a reminder that curfew is up at 10 p.m. for teens. Others feel the siren is too loud and want the town to discontinue sounding it every day.
Lujan askes residents to express their wishes so the town knows how to proceed in the future.
