SAGUACHE — Sheriff Dan Warwick announced Tuesday that two deputies placed on administrative leave during a shooting investigation have been cleared of any wrongdoing and are back at work.
CBI, in cooperation with the CSP, Saguache Sheriff’s Office and the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office led the investigation into the shooting.
One of the deputies involved in the investigation has turned in his resignation, Warwick said, but it is not related to the shooting.
According to a report from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, (CBI), the two Saguache deputies were placed on administrative leave last month following a shooting at a residence on County Road EE in Moffat Sunday, Feb. 12.
